Twin Peaks Metropolitan District

Twin Peaks Metropolitan District is a Title 32 Special District that has been established for the purpose of financing and installing street, water, sanitation, safety protection, park and recreation and transportation improvements and services of the District; and all other improvements or services permitted by Article 1, Title 32, C.R.S. (collectively, the “Public Improvements and Services”), except as specifically limited by the Amended and Restated Service Plan for the District approved by the City of Longmont on May 7, 2013, as it may be amended from time to time (the “Service Plan”).

The Public Improvements and Services are for the use and benefit of the residents and taxpayers of the District. The District is located in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado. The District is a quasi-municipal political subdivision of the State of Colorado authorized to provide specialized services that the City of Longmont or Boulder County does not provide.

The District may incur a maximum debt of $37,000,000. Debt may be payable from any and all legally available revenues of the District, including general ad valorem property taxes, fees, rates, tolls, penalties, or charges as provided in the Service Plan and Section 32-1-1001(1), C.R.S.

The District may assess a combined maximum mill levy for debt and operations and maintenance expenses of 50 mills.

The District must file an Annual Report to the City of Longmont and Boulder County Clerk and Recorder.

The District boundaries overlap with the boundaries of the following entities: St. Vrain Valley School District, Boulder County, City of Longmont, St. Vrain Left Hand Water, Northern Colorado Water District, Regional Transportation District, Twin Peaks Mall TIF.
